Stephen Grau joined TIFF in 2026 as a senior member of the Private Markets group, focusing on all aspects of the firm’s secondary investment strategy, including sourcing, underwriting, ongoing portfolio construction, and capital raising.
Prior to joining TIFF, Stephen spent over a decade in the secondaries market as both an advisor for and principal investor in LP- and GP-led transactions. Most recently, he was a Senior Vice President at Jefferies and, before that, Lazard Freres & Co., where he advised general partners and institutional investors on a variety of watershed secondaries transactions totaling over $11 billion of new equity capital. Stephen started his investment career on the Private Markets team at Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners (AIP), underwriting middle-market secondary transactions.
Stephen received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and graduated summa cum laude with Beta Gamma Sigma honors from The College of William & Mary.
Andrew Murray joined TIFF in 2026 as a senior member of the Private Markets group, leading the firm’s secondary investment efforts including sourcing, underwriting, ongoing portfolio construction, and capital raising.
Prior to joining TIFF, Andrew oversaw the private equity investment activities of Mill Creek Capital Advisors, an independent RIA serving approximately 450 families and institutions representing nearly $12 billion in assets, including its entry into the secondary market.
Prior to Mill Creek, Andrew spent over a decade as a member of the Private Markets team at Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners (AIP) where he served as a member of the global investment committee and participated in all aspects of the group’s activities.
Andrew received a BA from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Devansh Dutta joined TIFF in 2025 as an Analyst in the Private Markets group, working across the firm’s primary fund commitments and direct equity investment opportunities.
Devansh graduated from Williams College with a double major in Economics and Chinese. He is originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, and is interested in developmental economics, and the intersections of language, culture, and global markets.
Elizabeth Egan rejoined TIFF in 2024 as a senior member of the Private Markets group, bringing over a decade of experience as a direct investor in both public and private markets, as well as a background as a limited partner. She oversees all aspects of private investments, with a focus on PE direct investments alongside funds and independent sponsors, primary commitments in venture capital and growth equity, and secondary transactions.
Prior to TIFF, Elizabeth was a Vice President at Breakaway Ventures, a consumer-focused venture and growth equity fund, where she was central in sourcing, diligence, deal execution, portfolio management, and served on two boards. She has also gained experience in the public markets as an equity research analyst, covering small cap stocks for Chilton Investment Company, an equity long/short hedge fund. Elizabeth started her career at TIFF Investment Management, as an investment analyst and conducted manager research across asset classes and helped lead TIFF’s ESG initiative.
She holds an undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College and received her MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Joseph Wana joined TIFF in 2024 as a Senior Analyst in the Private Markets group, where he conducts investment research, furthers sourcing efforts, and performs sponsor and direct investment due diligence.
Joseph graduated from the University of Chicago with honors, where he double majored in Economics and Creative Writing.
He is originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, and has held a long interest in policy development, data intelligence, and international relations. He remains engaged with KitaBisa.com (Indonesia’s GoFundMe platform) and participates in Amnesty International’s Write for Rights campaign. When he’s not working, Joseph enjoys exploring different forms of writing. In college, Joseph was an active participant in various writing initiatives including the Intercollegiate Finance Journal (as a senior writer) and MODA Blog (as Editor-in-Chief).
