Brad Calder joined TIFF in 2015 and is a senior member of the investment team. He is focused on managing all aspects of the marketable portfolios and has led investments across public equity, real estate, arbitrage and crypto. Brad is a member of both the Valuation Committee and Disclosures Committee and serves as research coordinator between the TIFF Board and the investment team.
Beyond his work at TIFF, Brad contributes his expertise as a member of the investment committee at Founders Pledge, a global research-driven nonprofit managing over $10 billion in pledged assets.
Prior to joining TIFF, Brad honed his skills as a generalist investor across all asset classes at The Wallace Foundation and Lepercq, de Neuflize & Co., a single-family office. Earlier in his career, he taught English to second, fifth, and sixth-grade students at a public primary school in Shenzhen, China, and founded an education consulting business.
Brad graduated with highest distinction from the University of Rochester, earning dual degrees in Economics and Philosophy. He also completed a TEFL certification at Peking University.
