Fiona Chow joined TIFF in 2018 and serves as the Director in the Diversifying Strategies group. Fiona is responsible for evaluating and selecting a global portfolio of specialist managers investing in niche markets who have a competitive edge in their space. Previously, she performed investment research and analysis, focusing on risk and construction of portfolio solutions for TIFF.
Prior to TIFF, she was a Senior Business Analyst at Altair Management Consultants and a Derivatives Specialist at State Street Corporation.
Fiona is a CFA® charterholder and she holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Boston University.
Brad Calder joined TIFF in 2015 and serves as Managing Director of the Public Equities group. In this role, he oversees public equity investments across client portfolios, as well as select arbitrage and crypto strategies. He plays a central role in manager selection and portfolio construction.
In addition to his work at TIFF, Brad serves on the investment committee of Founders Pledge, a research-driven nonprofit, where he advises on investment strategy.
Prior to TIFF, Brad was a generalist investor at The Wallace Foundation and The Lepercq Group (a family office), investing across asset classes. Earlier in his career, he lived in Shenzhen, China, where he taught English at a public primary school and founded an education consulting business.
Brad graduated from the University of Rochester with dual degrees in Economics and Philosophy with highest distinction and completed a TEFL certification at Peking University.
Jessica Bolster joined TIFF’s investment team in 2015 and serves as a senior member of the investment team, where she works closely with the Chief Investment Officer and Risk group, focusing on trading and portfolio management. Her role involves the management of all of TIFF’s marketable portfolios, as well as custom member portfolios. She values TIFF’s mission of serving the endowed nonprofit community and feels fortunate to be working with a team of talented, thoughtful, and committed colleagues who share the same passion. Jessica participates in several committees at TIFF, including the Trade Committee, Customization Committee, and the DEI group – Women at TIFF. Additionally, she enjoys volunteering at the regular service events organized by TIFF staff in the local community.
Prior to joining TIFF, Jessica worked as a trading and investment operations analyst at The Baupost Group and held operational roles at Geode Capital Management and Fidelity Investments.
She received her BS from Bryant University and an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. Jessica is a CFA® charterholder and member of the CFA Society Boston.
Oliver Bardon joined TIFF in 2017 and serves as Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Construction and Risk, focusing on risk management and portfolio construction across the firm’s investment solutions. In this role he is tasked with combining TIFF’s best equity and diversifying strategies with risk-managing fixed income and hedging positions to create portfolios tailored to meet the risk, return and liquidity profiles suited to each individual TIFF client. He is a member of TIFF’s Investment Committee.
Prior to joining TIFF, Oliver served as a portfolio manager and as Head of Quantitative Analysis and Risk Management at Cambridge Place Investment Management. His responsibilities included assessing risk and managing hedging positions for portfolios of asset-backed securities. Oliver has also worked at Bracebridge Capital, where he analyzed structured finance and other fixed income investments, and at The Boston Consulting Group, where he was a manager in the financial services practice.
Oliver began his career as a physicist, conducting research at the US Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and Stanford Linear Accelerator Center, as well as at the Institute of High Energy Physics in Beijing.
With a BA in physics from the University of Virginia and a doctorate in Experimental Particle Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Oliver’s combination of expertise in investment management and physics gives him a highly analytical perspective on investing. He volunteers his time as a director of the Brookline High School Innovation Fund, where he serves on the Finance Committee.
Chris Anderson joined TIFF in 2015 as a senior member of the Private Markets group. He helps manage all aspects of the private equity and venture capital portfolios, focusing globally on origination of primary fund investments, PE direct investments alongside funds and independent sponsors, and secondary investments. Chris also collaborates with TIFF’s Client Service team helping investors with their efforts to construct a high quality, long-term private markets portfolio.
As a longtime supporter of education and entrepreneurship, Chris serves on the Investment Committee for the Babson College endowment and is Chair of the college’s Private Equity Committee.
Chris began his career as an engineer after graduating from the United States Merchant Marine Academy, where he also raced on the intercollegiate sailing team and was commissioned as an officer in the US Naval Reserve. Chris pursued an MBA at Babson College, after which he started his private equity career with SVG Advisers, a global private equity fund of funds.
Chris later joined Alcatel-Lucent Investment Management Corporation, which oversees $30 billion in pension assets, where he spent six years managing the private equity portfolio prior to joining TIFF.
