Scott L. Wilson is the Chief Investment Officer for Washington University in St. Louis. In this role, he evaluates global investment themes and strategies within equities, fixed income, real assets and alternative investments. He is responsible for developing and implementing the strategic asset allocation for the University’s endowment, evaluating current and potential investment opportunities, and communicating with the broader Washington University community. Prior to joining Washington University in St. Louis in 2017, Scott served as Chief Investment Officer and Director of Investments for Grinnell College. Previously, Scott was Head of Rates Option Trading for Barclays Capital Japan and held various trading and quant roles at Bank of America Securities in Tokyo, Chicago, and London focused on interest rate, equity, and currency derivatives. Scott also previously worked as an equity research analyst for Merrill Lynch & Credit Suisse First Boston. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics, with honors from Grinnell College and also attended the graduate program in Financial Mathematics at the University of Chicago. Scott is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Continuation funds within the broad private equity space may be appealing to certain types of investors, as highlighted by Brendon Parry, CFA, Head of Private Markets, Deputy CIO, who emphasized their possible advantages. Parry’s insights underscored the importance of considering various factors when evaluating the potential of continuation funds that might make this an interesting vehicle to pursue.

Damiano Cuppone joined TIFF in 2024 and serves as a Senior Analyst in the Equity-Oriented Strategies group. He performs sourcing, investment research, and manager selection across marketable equity-oriented assets.
Prior to TIFF, he worked at UniCredit in Italy, focusing on both retail and business banking as well as private wealth management.
Damiano holds a master’s degree in law, summa cum laude, from the University of Perugia. Damiano is fluent in Italian, French, and Spanish.
