Andrew Fontes Borts joined TIFF in 2026 and serves as Executive Director on the Client CIO team. In this role, Andrew collaborates with clients to develop investment strategies and construct portfolios designed to help them achieve their objectives.
Before joining TIFF, Andrew was an Executive Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley in its Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) group, where he spent five years as lead advisor to endowment and foundation clients, as well as select corporate trusts.
Earlier in his career, Andrew worked at Gilman Hill Asset Management in equity research. He began his career at UBS as a member of the Graduate Training Program.
He holds a BS in Finance and Economics from Sacred Heart University and an MSc in Finance with Distinction from Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.
Andrew serves as President of the Associate Board of Directors for Two Bridges Football Club, a no-pay-to-play soccer and academic enrichment program in NYC. Andrew currently holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses.
