Oliver Bardon Ph.D., joined TIFF in 2017 and serves as Head of Risk, focusing on risk management across the firm’s vehicles and on the construction of tailored portfolio solutions. He is a member of TIFF’s Investment Committee. Previously, Dr. Bardon was a Portfolio Manager and Head of Quantitative Analysis and Risk Management at Cambridge Place Investment Management, where his responsibilities included managing hedging positions, stress testing portfolios, and assessing credit, interest rate, and liquidity/funding risks. Prior to that, Dr. Bardon analyzed structured finance portfolios at Bracebridge Capital, was a manager in the financial services practice of The Boston Consulting Group, and conducted research as a post-doctoral Fellow at the US Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory. He holds a BA in physics from the University of Virginia and a doctorate in Experimental Particle Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a director of the Brookline High School Innovation Fund, where he serves on the Finance Committee.
