
Jessica Portis, CFA joined TIFF in 2020 and serves as Chief Client Officer. In this role, she collaborates closely with the investment and client-facing teams to develop and execute investment solutions that cater to the unique objectives of TIFF’s clients. Prior to joining TIFF, Jess was a Partner at Mercer, where she oversaw the delivery of investment-related services to both advisory and OCIO nonprofit clients. Additionally, she spent 15 years at Summit Strategies Group, where she held various roles across the consulting and research groups.
In recognition of her leadership and contributions to the industry, Jess was named one of Pensions & Investments’ 2025 Influential Women in Institutional Investing.
Jess is deeply committed to supporting nonprofit organizations and currently serves on the board of the SSM Health Foundation – St. Louis as well as The Whitfield School. She is also on the endowment/investment committees of the Center for Creative Arts (COCA) of St. Louis and the Missouri Foundation for Health.
Jess holds a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder. She is also a member of the TIFF Advisory Services (TAS) Board.
