Jessica Portis joined TIFF in 2020 and serves as Head of Member Portfolio Management and Services. In this role, she collaborates closely with the investment and member-facing teams to develop and execute investment solutions that cater to the unique objectives of TIFF’s members.
Prior to joining TIFF, Jess was a Partner at Mercer, where she oversaw the delivery of investment-related services to both advisory and OCIO nonprofit clients. Additionally, she spent 15 years at Summit Strategies Group, where she held various roles across the consulting and research groups.
Jess is deeply committed to supporting nonprofit organizations and currently holds board positions at the Visiting Nurse Association of St. Louis and the Center for Creative Arts (COCA) of St. Louis.
Jess holds a BS degree in Accounting from the University of Missouri – St. Louis and is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) charterholder.

Lisa Matson joined TIFF in 2020 and serves as the General Counsel responsible for the legal and compliance departments of TIFF’s regulated investment advisers and family of mutual funds. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Matson was the General Counsel, Chief Legal Officer, and Senior Partner of Penn Capital Management Company and previously held senior roles with Lincoln Financial Group and Vanguard. She started her legal career at the law firm of Stradley Ronon. Ms. Matson holds a B.A. magna cum laude with distinction from Carleton College, and a J.D. from The University of Pennsylvania Law School, where she also serves on the Dean’s Council.

Kane Brenan has served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TIFF Investment Management since 2020. In this role, he leads the firm in fulfilling its mission to be the best OCIO to the nonprofit community. Building on TIFF’s three-decade legacy, he brings best practice to investment management and advisory to help members achieve their individual investment and organizational objectives in an increasingly challenging landscape.
Prior to joining TIFF, Kane spent more than 20 years at Goldman Sachs, most recently as Partner, Global Head and co-CIO of the Global Solutions Portfolio Group, working closely with large endowment and pension clients in an OCIO capacity. Prior to this role, Kane was a Managing Director, helping to manage Goldman’s secondary private equity investment platform. Previously, Kane was a corporate M&A lawyer at Cravath, Swaine & Moore.
Kane is also active in support of nonprofits outside of his work at TIFF, including serving on the boards of Beyond Celiac, Bryn Mawr Hospital Foundation, and Holy Child School at Rosemount.
He earned his BA from Boston College and his JD/MBA from Georgetown University and is also a member of the TIFF Advisory Services (TAS) Board.

Robert Zion joined TIFF in 2017 and serves as Chief Operating Officer. His responsibilities span all operational and strategic aspects of TIFF’s work and specifically include oversight of finance, operations, information technology, legal affairs, and human resources. Previously, Mr. Zion spent 25 years at Hirtle Callaghan & Co., where he was Chief Operating Officer and, before that, Chief Financial Officer. He served on the firm’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors. Prior to that, he was a Senior Audit Manager at PriceWaterhouse Coopers. Mr. Zion holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and is a Philadelphia Financial Scholars board member.

Zane Hamid joined TIFF in 2006 and serves as Head of Operations. Previously he has been a manager within TIFF operations, analytics and member services. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Hamid was employed by SEI, where he worked in alternative investments operations. He received his BS in accounting from Cabrini College.
