
Willie Zantzinger serves as a Director in the Member Strategy Group, bringing 35 years of investment experience to his work with endowments and foundations on the structure and oversight of their investment programs. Willie’s motivation in joining TIFF was its investment heritage and focus on mission.
Before joining TIFF in 2016, Willie was a partner at Gardner Lewis Asset Management, where he served in roles that included portfolio risk management, macroeconomic and thematic equity research, client service, and new business strategy for the firm’s $10 billion portfolio of equity and hedge fund strategies. He also worked as an Investment Counselor at William Blair & Company and as an equity trader for Morgan Stanley in their New York and London offices.
Willie earned a BA in Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the university’s Darden School of Business, where he was awarded the Faculty Award for Academic Excellence. He currently sits on the Investment Committee for the Delaware Museum of Natural History. Previously, he held the position of President of the Board of Trustees until 2017.
