Herbie Bohnet joined TIFF in 2008. He focuses primarily on legal matters related to alternative investments. Mr. Bohnet was previously an associate in the Boston office of Ropes & Gray LLP, where he represented institutional investors, including leading endowments. He received his BSE in biomedical and mechanical engineering from Duke University and his JD from Stanford Law School.
 
Mary Bradley joined TIFF in 2008. She is responsible for document management functions at TIFF. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Bradley was a records associate with GlaxoSmithKline in the US research and development division. She previously spent 14 years as a records manager with the Access Group.
 
Wesley Carroccio joined TIFF in 2005. Ms. Carroccio handles a variety of human resource and operational tasks. She was previously employed by Philadelphia Insurance Companies as an underwriter and by Delaware Investments, where she was a marketing associate. She received her BA in English from Saint Joseph's University.
 
Neil Conway joined TIFF in 2007. He works in TIFF's member and outreach services group, focusing on the absolute return program. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Conway was employed by SEI, where he was an account director on the relationship management team in Global Fund Services. He received his BS in business administration from La Salle University.
 
Rishi Desai joined TIFF in 2012 and is a member of the compliance staff. He was previously employed as an attorney and director at The Cipperman Companies, where he represented registered investment advisers and provided legal and regulatory services to mutual funds, private equity funds, and hedge funds. Prior to joining The Cipperman Companies, Mr. Desai was an associate attorney in the investment management and commercial finance practice groups of Thompson Hine LLP. He received his BA in economics from The George Washington University and his JD from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
 
Maureen Distel joined TIFF in 2007. Her primary responsibilities include bookkeeping and payroll for TIFF. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Distel spent eight years with The Creative Financial Group as a senior accountant. She also served as staff accountant for Liberty Technologies. She is a certified payroll professional.
 
Mona ElNaggar joined TIFF in 2007 and serves as a Managing Director. Based in London, she selects and monitors TIFF's portfolio of private equity and private real estate managers in Europe and many emerging markets. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. ElNaggar worked in the Merger and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, and Securitization divisions of Morgan Stanley, primarily in Europe. She holds a BA in economics from the University of Chicago and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
 
Jill Everitt joined TIFF in 2011. She is responsible for a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Previously, Ms. Everitt worked at the US State Department as a Visa Specialist and as a Research/Executive Assistant for a small defense contractor in McLean, Virginia. Ms. Everitt received her BA in political science from the University of Iowa and her MA in international affairs from American University.
 
Richard Flannery joined TIFF in 2003 and serves as Chief Executive Officer, with overall responsibility for all of the organization's activities. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Flannery spent 14 years at Delaware Investments, where he was Executive Vice President, supervising multiple departments and playing a key role in the firm's transition from a domestic to a global investment management firm. He holds a BS summa cum laude in sociology from Saint Joseph's University and a JD from Harvard Law School. Mr. Flannery serves on the board of Mercy Investment Services Inc., a non-profit investment firm serving the Sisters of Mercy, and on the board of The Nelson Foundation.
 
Susanne Francis joined TIFF in 2001. She helps manage special projects across TIFF, with a focus on technology initiatives. Ms. Francis is also involved in the coordination of educational seminars. She previously was employed by HarbourVest Partners in Boston. Ms. Francis received her BS in kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire.
 
Lodge Gillespie joined TIFF in 1998 and serves as a Managing Director. He selects and monitors external investment managers for TIFF's private investments program, focusing on realty and resources managers. He was previously employed by a unit of Standard & Poor's. Mr. Gillespie holds a BA in history from Colgate University, holds an MA in history from the University of Virginia, and is a CFA charterholder. He serves on the Montgomery County (Maryland) Board of Investment Trustees.
 
Natalie Greco joined TIFF in 2007. Ms. Greco handles a variety of administrative and operational tasks for TIFF's member services and outreach team. Ms. Greco focuses on graphic design, including presentation materials, publications, and web design. She was previously employed by the Iowa Department of Public Health as a child health intern. She received her BA in advertising from Iowa State University.
 
Zane Hamid joined TIFF in 2006. He manages fund operations for TIFF's marketable investments program, including the analysis and monitoring of managers. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Hamid was employed by SEI, where he worked in alternative investments operations. He received his BS in accounting from Cabrini College.
 
Philip Hopkins joined TIFF in 2007. He focuses on accounting and financial reporting, including quarterly reports, for the TIFF private investments program. Mr. Hopkins was previously with Grant Thornton LLP (GT), providing attestation services for financial institutions and private investment clients. Prior to GT, Mr. Hopkins was employed as an internal auditor with Thomas Jefferson University/Hospital. He received his BS in accounting from East Carolina University. He is a certified public accountant and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst designation.
 
Paul Horvitz joined TIFF in 2008. He contributes to and helps edit TIFF publications, reports and educational materials. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Horvitz was senior editor at Bloomberg Markets magazine and directed the creation of in-depth articles from the Americas for Bloomberg LP's news division. He previously held a variety of newspaper reporting and editing positions, including deputy managing editor of the International Herald Tribune in Paris and assistant national editor at The New York Times. He holds a BA degree from Harvard College.
 
Cassandra Howley joined TIFF in 2011. She focuses on accounting and financial reporting for the TIFF marketable investments program. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Howley was a senior accountant at Comcast Corp. and a senior associate at Ernst & Young. She holds a BS degree in accounting from St. Joseph's University and is a certified public accountant.
 
John Hylkema joined TIFF in 2006. His primary focus is financial reporting and valuation analysis for the TIFF private investments program. Prior to joining TIFF, he performed a variety of functions at Prudential, Lucent, and AT&T, including balance sheet and income statement analysis, financial reporting, business planning and budgeting, and business development through mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Hylkema received his BS in accounting and business administration from Montclair State University.
 
Eric Kennedy joined TIFF in 2008. Mr. Kennedy is a member of TIFF's technology team, focusing on user and systems support. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Kennedy worked as a management information systems coordinator for Intech Construction, Inc. He received his BS in information systems from Drexel University.
 
Masa Kimura joined TIFF in 2007. Mr. Kimura is a member of TIFF's technology team. He is responsible for all IT infrastructure, including networking and phone services. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Kimura worked as a network manager for Gartmore International. He received his bachelor's degree in engineering from Nihon University in Tokyo, Japan.
 
Samantha Koch joined TIFF in 2011. She handles member and outreach services in TIFF's member services group. Ms. Koch received her BA in political science from Saint Joseph's University.
 
Nancy Ladd joined TIFF in 2011. She handles a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Ladd was an executive assistant at O'Neill Properties Group. She received her BS in elementary education from the University of Pittsburgh.
Laurence Lebowitz joined TIFF in 2010 and serves as President and Chief Investment Officer, presiding over the full range of TIFF's investment activities and programs. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Lebowitz spent 17 years at HBK Capital Management in a series of portfolio management roles and ultimately as Chairman of the firm. He holds an AB degree in computer science from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Lebowitz has served as a trustee and investment committee member of numerous nonprofits, most recently those focusing on medicine, the arts, and education.
 
Cindy Lewis joined TIFF in 2007. She focuses on operational due diligence with regard to external fund managers and on internal accounting and reporting controls. Ms. Lewis previously worked as an audit manager at Ernst & Young LLP (E&Y). At E&Y, Ms. Lewis worked extensively with registered and unregistered investment companies, trust companies, investment advisors and financial banking institutions. Ms. Lewis received her BS in accounting from the University of Pennsylvania and is a certified public accountant.
 
Dawn Lezon joined TIFF in 2006. She manages TIFF's financial operations and fund analytics, including the calculation of fund net asset values, the preparation of financial reports for audit, the conduct of operational due diligence, and the oversight of all internal accounting. Ms. Lezon was previously a partner in the Summit, NJ-based accounting firm of Crane, Tonelli, Rosenberg & Co., LLP (CTR). At CTR, she provided a variety of assurance, tax, and financial reporting services to hedge funds and funds of funds. Prior to joining CTR, Ms. Lezon's professional experience included five years at KPMG Peat Marwick and six years at Paine Webber. She received her BS in accounting from Muhlenberg College and an MBA in finance and international business from the Stern School of Business at NYU. She is a certified public accountant.
 
Christine Lopez joined TIFF in 2011. She handles a variety of administrative and operational tasks. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Lopez was an administrative assistant and inventory manager at The KLM Group. She received her BS in health sciences from Drexel University.
 
Kelly Lundstrom joined TIFF in 2006. She has overall responsibility for fund operations and fund analytics of TIFF's marketable investment and alternative investment programs. Ms. Lundstrom worked for almost 11 years at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute, where she managed a team responsible for the operational and administrative functions of the Institute's investment department, with approximately $11 billion in assets under management. Ms. Lundstrom received her BA in English from Lafayette College.
 
Richelle Maestro joined TIFF in 2005 as General Counsel. She has overall responsibility for TIFF's legal and regulatory matters. Prior to joining TIFF, she was Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Delaware Investments, where she had responsibility for both the legal and compliance functions. During her 13 years at Delaware Investments, Ms. Maestro provided legal services, counseling, and oversight with respect to all aspects of the firm's business, including mutual funds and institutional asset management. She received her BS in business administration from the University of Delaware and her JD summa cum laude from Villanova University School of Law.
 
John Merrill joined TIFF in 2005 and serves as a Managing Director. He focuses on asset allocation, the selection and monitoring of external managers, and outreach. In addition, Mr. Merrill has primary responsibility for the TIFF Keystone Program. Previously, he was a Vice President in the Private Client Services division of Credit Suisse First Boston. Mr. Merrill holds a BA in history from Hamilton College and an MBA from the Yale School of Management.
 
Joe Miller joined TIFF in 2011. He performs investment research and selects and monitors external investment managers, focusing on TIFF's comprehensive endowment solution offerings. Previously, Mr. Miller was a Vice President and senior analyst with BNY Mellon Asset Management. He holds a BS in finance from Boston College, holds a master's degree in finance from the London Business School, and is a CFA charterholder.
 
Anuja Navaratna joined TIFF in 2011. His primary responsibilities include analysis and monitoring of managers for the TIFF marketable investments program. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Navaratna was employed by DinaliC, LLC, where he focused on business operations. He received his BS in business administration with a concentration in finance from Drexel University.
 
Dina Nicolosi joined TIFF in 2006. Ms. Nicolosi handles administrative and operational matters. She was previously employed by Aqua Pharmaceuticals as an executive assistant and sales support representative. Prior to working with Aqua Pharmaceuticals, Ms. Nicolosi was employed by ATX Communications for six years as a senior account manager. She received her BS in marketing from Saint Joseph's University.
 
Erin O'Connor joined TIFF in 2007 and is a member of the compliance staff. She was previously employed by GMAC Mortgage as a senior accountant. Prior to joining GMAC, Ms. O'Connor was a staff accountant for Arthur Andersen LLP and KPMG LLP, where she audited mutual funds. She received her BS in accounting from the University of Richmond. She is a certified public accountant.
 
Brendon Parry joined TIFF in 2011. He performs investment research and selects and monitors external investment managers, focusing on TIFF's private investments program. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Parry spent two years as a Senior Associate at Providence Equity Partners and worked for three years in the consulting group at Cambridge Associates. Mr. Parry holds an AB in economics from Brown University, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, and is a CFA charterholder. He serves on the Belmont Day School Investment Committee.
 
Joseph Polimeni joined TIFF in 2006. His responsibilities include system analysis, application development, project management, and software/network support. Prior to joining TIFF, he was employed by Gartmore Global Investments (a subsidiary of Nationwide Insurance) and Pilgrim Baxter & Associates as an investment systems analyst. Mr. Polimeni also worked as director of management information systems at Ashbridge Investment Management and was employed for 10 years at CoreStates Financial as a programmer/analyst. He received his BS in management information systems from Rowan University.
 
Kate Powell joined TIFF in 2011. She is a research analyst focusing on TIFF's absolute return program. Prior to joining TIFF, she was a researcher at the Council on Foreign Relations. Ms. Powell is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, where she received her BA in history.
 
William Rinaldi joined TIFF in 2008. His primary responsibilities include daily operations related to the absolute return and private investment programs. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Rinaldi was employed by PFPC Worldwide as a pricing consultant and SEI Investments, where he worked as a hedge fund accountant. He received his BS in finance from Drexel University.
 
John Robertson joined TIFF in 2011. He focuses on member and outreach services. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Robertson was Head of Marketing Services at Aberdeen Asset Management Inc. and previously held positions at a range of investment management firms, including Delaware Investments and Morgan Stanley Investment Management. He holds a finance degree from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA degree from Temple University.
 
Kelley Satterfield joined TIFF in 2004. She focuses on tax accounting for TIFF vehicles within the marketable investments and private investments programs. She was previously employed by Perrin Quarles Associates in Charlottesville, Virginia, where she was an accounting assistant. Ms. Satterfield received her BS in international management and Spanish from Butler University and completed the Accounting Certificate Program at Villanova University.
 
Tamara Scharlat joined TIFF in 2004. She performs investment research, manager monitoring, and analysis for TIFF's absolute return program. Previously, Ms. Scharlat worked at Freddie Mac and the Federal Agricultural Mortgage Corporation. She holds a BS in accounting from George Mason University and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. She is a certified public accountant and CFA charterholder.
 
Nina Scherago joined TIFF in 1998 and serves as a Deputy Chief Investment Officer, overseeing the full range of TIFF's hedged and other absolute return strategies, including manager selection and monitoring. Previously, she served as Managing Director of private investments at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and worked in investment banking. Ms. Scherago holds a BA in economics and government from Smith College, holds an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia, and is a CFA charterholder. She serves as a trustee of Smith College and chairperson of the college's Investment Committee and is a trustee of the University of Virginia Investment Management Company.
 
Michael Schiazza joined TIFF in 2011. He focuses on accounting and financial reporting, primarily for TIFF's absolute return program and elements of TIFF's comprehensive endowment solutions offerings. Mr. Schiazza was previously an auditor in the investment management practice at Deloitte. He holds undergraduate degrees in accounting and finance from Villanova University and is a certified public accountant.
 
Fran Sebzda joined TIFF in 2007. She is a paralegal working closely with legal and compliance staff. Prior to joining TIFF, Ms. Sebzda performed paralegal and compliance work at Citco Fund Services, Inc. and Liberty Ridge Capital, Inc. She received her AAS in paralegal studies from Delaware County Community College.
 
Jim Shields joined TIFF in 2008. He serves as Chief Information Officer, with overall responsibility for information technology at TIFF. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Shields spent 27 years at Delaware Investments serving in multiple roles and providing technology support during several mergers and outsourcing deals. For 10 of those 27 years, he was Delaware's Chief Information Officer, leading a technology team that supported up to 2,000 users. Mr. Shields has an undergraduate degree in mathematics and an MBA in information systems, both from Saint Joseph's University.
 
Magnus Sigurdsson joined TIFF in 2011. He performs quantitative and fundamental analysis related to asset allocation and manager evaluation, primarily for the firm's comprehensive endowment solution offerings. Previously, he was an analyst for Premium Finance Group in Shanghai and for Iceland's Islandsbanki. Mr. Sigurdsson holds a BS in economics from the University of Iceland and a master's degree in finance from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
 
Andrew Smith joined TIFF in 2009. His primary responsibilities include analysis and monitoring of managers for the TIFF marketable investments program. He received his BS in economics from The Pennsylvania State University.
 
Christian Szautner joined TIFF in 2008. He serves as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) of TIFF Advisory Services, TIFF's investment adviser affiliate, and the CCO of TIFF's family of mutual funds. As CCO, Mr. Szautner has overall responsibility for compliance matters involving TAS and the mutual funds and their affiliates and serves as the key liaison with regulatory agencies. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Szautner was a partner in the Philadelphia office of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll, LLP, where he practiced investment management law. He received his BA in political science from The Pennsylvania State University and his JD from the University of Pennsylvania.
 
John Thorndike joined TIFF in 2004 and serves as a Deputy Chief Investment Officer, overseeing the firm's comprehensive endowment solution offerings. He selects and monitors external investment managers in both separate account and pooled fund formats. He also is responsible for internally managed investments for all TIFF vehicles, including passive exposures, rebalancing, hedging, and other derivatives transactions. Before joining TIFF, Mr. Thorndike was an analyst in the investment office of Bowdoin College. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Bowdoin, where he earned an AB degree summa cum laude in physics, and currently serves as a Bowdoin College trustee.
 
Conrad Trimbath joined TIFF in 2011. He is a research analyst focusing on TIFF's private investments program. Mr. Trimbath is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Middlebury College, where he received his BA summa cum laude in political science.
 
Stephen Vicinelli joined TIFF in 2003 and serves as a Deputy Chief Investment Officer, overseeing all aspects of TIFF's private investments program, including the selection and monitoring of underlying investment funds and secondary interests. Prior to joining TIFF, he spent 10 years at Morgan Stanley in the firm's Mergers and Acquisitions, Corporate Finance, and Realty divisions, primarily in Europe. Mr. Vicinelli holds a BA in history from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Columbia Business School. He serves on the Investment Committee of The Hotchkiss School.
 
Meredith Weaver joined TIFF in 2010. She handles a variety of tasks for TIFF's member and outreach services group. Ms.Weaver was previously employed by Boenning & Scattergood, Inc., where she was a registered sales administrator. Ms.Weaver received a BS in finance from Philadelphia University.
 
Eric Weller joined TIFF in 2007. He is responsible for the daily operations related to the private investments and absolute return programs. Prior to joining TIFF, Mr. Weller was employed by Chartwell Investment Partners, where he worked in the operations department as a portfolio accountant. He received his BS in business management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
 
Michael Winter joined TIFF in 2005. He manages TIFF's member and outreach services. He also serves as the key member services contact for TIFF Keystone Program members. He was previously employed by Cambridge Associates as an investment performance analyst. Mr. Winter received his BS in finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
